Worship Moment

Your Psalm

This is the Psalm, written by you, the people of Trinity.  It is an expression of faith, hope and love.  It was shared in our Sept. 6 worship service.

Gracious God, may your presence in my life give me hope and strength for the uncertainty in the days ahead.

Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for this special day and for all the blessings that we will receive and enjoy.

You Lord are my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
    my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
    my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Loving Heavenly Parent  I want to say thank you for the gift of all of life and to ask for wisdom for myself and for the whole human race, of how we can redeem what you have created and we have continued to destroy; and I dare not ask for forgiveness, for we do know better.

We know that we live a privileged life. Help us care for others.

We know that “Mortality gives meaning to human life, love, peace, friendship, hope; precious because they will not endure.”

We know that in this time of challenge and when we don’t know what will happen, you are with us.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help comes from you, O God – if only I would fully trust in that and turn to you in all of life.

I give you thanks O Lord, with my whole heart.

Creator, with deep gratitude we enjoy your work and listen carefully for your intention.

Ours is a song of praise to the God who holds us in the palm of his hands through all trials & tribulations and raises us up to receive His gifts. Praise the Lord God Almighty.

Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing of his glorious name!”

Prayer

O God, we come to you and open ourselves before you. Hear the words we pray, sing and recite.  Hear the words that live deep within us, not yet spoken aloud.  Amen.
