Pickle Ball: Pickleball started at Trinity United Church in February of 2018 when a return trip from Florida (where this game is very popular) sparked the interest of getting friends out and enjoying this fun social activity.  Those that gather on Friday evening in the Fellowship Hall have become very dedicated to the game.  We have 18 dedicated players and several drop-in players when they can make it out.  We are a non-competitive league and don’t even keep score.  This is for fun and exercise.  We play 15 minute games on the two new courts we created when our new floor was installed. Depending on the amount of players out on any given night you will get at least 1 hour of play.  We follow the simple rules of Pickleball Canada and just try to keep it fun! This game is for all ages but we ask that you be over 16 years of age to join our league.  Cost is $10 to become a member in September and then $3 per person/night.  If you do not take out a membership you will pay the drop-in fee of $5/night/person.  Season runs from Sept – May.  Brad Coventry is the contact person:  bcoventry@xplornet.com.

Shuffleboard: The shuffleboard group meets every Tues. a.m. from 9:30 to 11:15. Presently there are 8 members. We play 3 games, then have a prolonged coffee and cookie break. Then play 2 more games. Cost is $1. each. We play for fun and aren’t that competitive. New members are welcome. Contact Phyllis or Doug Milne at doug.phyllis@hotmail.com
