New to Us

Thank you for reaching out…

We are a community that exists to teach a life-giving and inclusive Christian Faith by nurturing spirituality through uplifting worship and service in our community.  We value justice, wisdom, respect and hope.

Worship: We gather Sunday mornings 10:30 am.  The services are one hour in length. Most arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the service start. We stream our services to the parlour and hold live service in our newly renovated sanctuary.  Children ages 4-12 can participate in Sunday School led by our Child and Youth Coordinator each Sunday. The children begin in the service with families and then can leave after Children’s Time for Sunday School.

Relax: You can be assured you will never be centred out, never embarrassed. Our service is user friendly. Follow the bulletin and the screens for instructions.

Dress: As you wish.  Remember God looks at the heart and loves variety!

Sing: Music is a big part of our service.  If you don’t enjoy singing, enjoy the words and melodies of the talents around you. The choir indicates when we stand or sit.  Feel free to remain seated during all hymns.

Drinks: Are on the house! After service, stay, linger and connect with us in the parlour. Enjoy the fellowship.

Tell: Let us know who you are and how we can meet your needs.  We have greeters at the accessible entrance, ushers in the sanctuary and staff mingling.  During the service we share the Peace of Christ with one another, feel free to introduce yourself to those around you.

Offering: If you are a guest with us, please do not feel obligated to participate in offering. This service is our gift to you. During offering time,  regular members give to God and God’s work through Trinity United. If you wish to give and receive a tax receipt for the givings, visitor envelopes are available in the back of the chairs.

Audio/Visual: Our services are recorded.  If you do not wish to be on camera, please sit near the back of the sanctuary, which is a safe zone.

Accessibility: Our facility is accessible.  The best entrance to use on Sundays is the ramp entrance at the front of the building.  We have reserved parking spaces on each side of this entrance. Hearing Assist devices are available in the sanctuary.  Large print hymn books can be requested from the ushers. All words to hymns and scripture are projected on the screens in the parlour and sanctuary.   The parlour is an alternative worship place separate from the sanctuary. Anything else, let us know and we will accommodate.

Parking: Enter off King Street and exit on to Church Street.  We have a large lot with marked spaces. Free additional parking is available on Church Street (Sunday mornings only) and King Street.
